For next week's blog post, I would like to answer some of the big questions I've received since launching my webpage and announcing my novel.
If you would like to ask a question before next week's article, you can contact me here. I would also encourage you to sign up for my monthly newsletter so you don't miss out on any important news and/or exclusive offers regarding my debut novel, ANOM: Awakening. You can sign up for the newsletter here. The original manuscript, ANOM: Awakening, was sent today to Invisible Ink Editing.
Invisible Ink Editing is a small editing team with very good prices for the services they offer. I found Invisible Ink a couple of months ago when I was searching online for an editor for my book. At that time, I exchanged several e-mails with Liam Carnahan, founder and chief editor of Invisible Ink. I appreciated how accessible he was, and his willingness to answer all my novice questions (Liam usually responded to my e-mails on the same day). Then I sent in the first 20 pages of my book for a "sample edit" and when I saw the results, I was hooked (you'd have to ask Vanessa about it, but there may have even been tears of joy when I read some of their suggestions). The changes suggested on those first pages were exactly what I needed. It kept my "voice" in tact, but made the story sing. I immediately scheduled a day in February to send in my completed manuscript, and finally, that day is here. Today is an exciting step on the road to my ultimate goal of publication. Now I just have to (patiently) wait for the results of Liam's editing . . . a task easier said than done. For anyone interested in the editing services offered by Invisible Ink Editing, you can find their website here. |
